A leisurely stroll by the Muddy Creek

We took a break from our regularly scheduled life to take a leisurely walk on the greenway.

One of the kids had the camera at this point
E was great- he's still learning to keep his hat on.
Surprisingly, no one fell in.

There are some horses for about a half acre on the greenway. My kids named them. I'm sure they already had names- but no one listened to me.

The actual snow.....

Taylor came and was snowed in with us on purpose....

These are some of the pictures from her camera.....can't you just FEEL the fun?

Raelyn turned 5!!! (on 1/1/10)

Christmas Day 2009

We started the morning at our house, opening presents and having fun.

Josh had built the kids bunkbeds and we (plus our elves) set those up on Christmas Eve. We didn't get to bed until after 3am.

Then we went to my parent's house for a Christmas Brunch- it's our tradition.

All Raelyn had been asking for was 'fake nails'- so her daddy gave her some in her stocking

After that we headed to Statesville to hang out with my grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins.

Morgan's Baptism

Ok, I know this is late.........

Morgan was baptized on December 13th, 2009. It was a wonderful event and we were so blessed to be able to have our wonderful family and friends there supporting her in this choice.

Everett waiting for the whole thing to begin.....

Christmas Eve 2009

We spent Christmas Eve day just relaxing and spending time at home- then headed over to where Josh's grandmother lives for some extended family fun.

This is Josh's grandmother (sitting), her two kids and their spouses, six grandchildren and their spouses and thirteen great-grandchildren with one on the way! (no it's not me- it's Joni)

After that we head over to Josh's other grandparent's home, eat tenderloin biscuits, open presents and spend more time laughing and joking around.
